Searching for the ideal precast concrete U channel supplier? The U channel’s simple role is to transport water or control flow along a path that’s open at the top, to contain whatever load is placed on or next to it, and to continue to do so for years without cracking, silting or leaking water outside the channel.

If it does, no one is aware of it.

If it doesn’t, you don’t have an idea of the U channel, you have an idea of the supplier of the U channel.

Reinforcement schedules and hydraulic profile details tell you what a supplier claims their channels can achieve. Installed projects demonstrate what they have actually delivered. Request case studies and performance details of U channel installations used in similar applications, including information about flow performance, sediment control and long-term structural condition.

A channel that continues to drain efficiently and maintain its structural integrity years after installation says far more about the supplier’s quality than any product specification sheet.
